Bidwizer Investment Club is made up of neighbours and friends who all have similar ideas of high-risk speculative investments.

The idea for the Bidwizer Investment club came from three of the founder members after all had purchased shares in the Aim listed penny share Atlantic Caspian.

After contacting Proshare and purchasing their manual a preliminary meeting was held to discuss the formation of an Investment club. Following this, the inaugural meeting was arranged at which the Bidwizer Investment club was formed, a name selected, Officers were elected, Banking details, Stockbroker, Rules of the Investment Club and the Constitution were agreed and the monthly contribution set

The Club was formed in November 1999 and currently has 11 members, each member knows at least 3 other members personally and is a requirement for any new proposed members.

Our intention is to have fun and hopefully learn a bit about successful investing. We are taking a long term view in our strategies and do not worry about daily price fluctuations. We have an Investment Club nominee account with TDWaterhouse with access over the Internet, with the Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary authorised to trade. We meet during the last week of the month at either the Chairman's or the Treasurers home.

The Bidwizer Investment Club's name was acquired during the Inaugural meeting. After several beers a label on a bottle was the source of the inspiration. .
